This week let’s talk about the latest numbers and the races. They are both intriguing and conflicting. On the one hand we’re still seeing some economic growth. On the other – Biden is locked in the mid to high 30s when it comes to job approval rating.
The other issues have to do with confidence. Over 80% in some polls say the country is headed in the wrong direction, 49% feel like they are strangers in their own country, and new lows regarding confidence in institutions of the presidency and Supreme Court.
We’ll also talk about some of the big races going on across the country. In recent polls, the reversal of Roe vs. Wade does show movement towards the Democrats and away from Republicans. This could make a difference in some key races, including Pennsylvania.
In Georgia the Senate race which as been tied is now tilting towards Raphael Warnock by 10% points. Abrams who is running against Kemp is now tied where Kemp had been leading. Does this improve the changes of the Democrats in the midterms?
Finally, what’s the likelihood of a Trump/Biden rematch in 2024?
Thanks for tuning in – we’ll see you next week.
