When we look at polls like these, and there are many of them – what is actually meaningful and what doesn’t really matter? How can we understand what’s going on behind the headlines?
What seems to be clear is that the big winner was Donald Trump. DeSantis didn’t pick up any ground, and Haley surged from 2% to 7% but the latest polls put her back at 3%.
The moral? We need to be very cautious about the headlines we’re reading.
