Today on the podcast, we do need to address the terrible tragedy this week with the assassination of Charlie Kirk, as well as the continuing epidemic of shootings around the country. Many things are lost here.
Our main topic today is that we have some new polling data on Independents – who they are and what it could mean in 2026. We asked them about both major parties’ strengths and weaknesses and their feedback is not good news for either party.
Finally – we’ll talk about our current climate and the need and opportunity to re-humanize politics. If one or both parties fail to seize that opportunity it is at everyone’s peril.
