Is the Democratic Party as we know it, dying? Twice now they’ve had majorities and have held the White House and yet the promises they ran on were flattened out when the legislative process took over.
We’re seeing this with Biden now as well. He’s in a typical place in terms of approval rating. The bottom line is that he ran on a big agenda including climate, voting rights and infrastructure – but there have been very few legislative accomplishments to speak of so far. Is Biden a transitional, transformational or inconsequential President?
