President Biden is currently at a 53%-54% approval rating after his first 100 days in office. That’s a good rating thus far. He’s managed to build his numbers by about 3-4% since the election.
Biden sees his presidency as transformational rather than transitional – like FDR. Will it turn out the way he hopes? Every President has gotten a honeymoon over the first 100 days (except Donald Trump), so this is typical but can the national media make or break an agenda?
A crisis is a terrible thing to waste – and has always been used to push forth an agenda on both sides of the aisle.
Given the threats to our nation and democracy, are Biden’s plans too much or is it a necessary investment to meet the moment?
